Having control of your projects and programmes and full visibility of all activities at all levels is key to the challenge of bridging the Knowing–Doing gap. Find out how you can be part of the controls revolution at EVA28 this May.
At RPC, we’re proud of the work we do in enabling our clients to achieve visibility across their projects through the implementation of fully integrated project controls solutions based on the Oracle Primavera product suite, and particularly our Unifier Solution Sets. That’s why we’re always so keen to sponsor and support the EVA conferences organised by industry expert and Earned Value guru Steve Wake.
Somehow, each conference surpasses the last and as we plan for the forthcoming event in May, the RPC team has been reflecting on our memories of last October’s EVA27:
“A particular highlight for me,” Chris Woodbridge recalls, “was a very candid presentation from Mark Wild on his time as CEO of Crossrail and the lessons learned. I attend a lot of events, and the line-up here was one of the best I've seen.”
“One thing mentioned a number of times,” remembers Alex Chewins, “was the problem of siloed data and the negative effect this can have on a project. I thought this was really interesting given the talk by Dave Hurren covering this very issue with Unifier and Dublin Airport.”
You can read more insights from EVA27 here and explore some of the presentations here.
There is another great line-up prepared for EVA28 and RPC is proud to be Gold Sponsor once again, supported by Oracle Construction and Engineering.
Presentations will explore the theme of transformational change, as Jemma Dunne of the National Audit Office shares lessons learned from making changes in major programmes and Iain Milne, alongside Frank Mortimer look back at the benefits gained through the implementation of RPC’s EVM solution at MoD DE&S.
Two other presentations that sit well together are ones highlighting the role of Earned Value in environmental sustainability. Ed Davey of the World Resources Institute investigates the topic of climate redemption and Airbus Head of Widebody Business Development, Mark Robinson, shares his route towards Net Zero and a future of sustainable aviation.
There’s entertainment, too, with EVA Poet in Residence, Paul Lyalls, and John Hegley – performance poet and musician – who will be taking a sidelong look at the establishment and closing the event with his key takeaways from the day in his Promised You a Miracle musical improvisation.
Click here to find out more about the event and how to register to attend. There’s dinner in the evening, too, in the spectacular and historic surroundings of the Armourers’ Hall.
RPC is pleased to be able to offer a generous 25% discount on combined conference and tickets for RPC Customers. Just quote RPC25 when you register, to purchase tickets for the conference and dinner together for less than the price of a single full-price conference entry.
We hope we’ll see you there.
