RPC Earned Value Management Solution Set for Oracle's Primavera Unifier

RPC’s Unifier EVM Solution is designed to enhance standard Unifier software in order to provide an Earned Value Management solution that conforms to the American National Standards Institute/Electronic Industries Alliance standard ANSI/EIA-748, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS). This is the standard for all US Department Of Defense (DoD) Earned Value Management programs, which was formally adopted in August 1998 for application to Major Defence Acquisition Programs (MDAPS). A similar standard is being implemented for the execution of UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) contracts in the UK.

Overview

RPC’s EVM Solution for Unifier is a template configuration that is applied to standard Primavera Unifier solutions (release 18.8 and above). It includes a core set of pre-developed generic foundation Earned Value Management business processes. From this starting point, a bespoke fit is achieved for each customer by developing further custom business processes. In this way, it is possible to ensure that the solution conforms to the existing Oracle Primavera design and data structures and so facilitates production of the 5 CPR formats required for compliance with the defined standard reporting process.

The RPC EVM Solution fosters a truly collaborative way of working, achieving transparency of data that enables programme teams to make better, more informed decisions at all levels. Full audit trails allow users to track information changes and a Change Control process makes it easy to understand the potential and actual impact to the programme of changes in budget, scope, resources, schedule and more. For best results, RPC’s EVM Solution for Unifier should be deployed with Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM and Gateway Integration but it can also be implemented as a standalone Unifier solution.

RPC’s Earned Value Management System facilitates rigorous, updated processes at all levels of an organisation, driving performance and variance-based reporting.
