Unifier Solution Sets – What are they?

The challenge for an organisation when starting from scratch, is often in being able to visualise Unifier’s capabilities and then validate its compliance when researching suitable solutions. The tool is so highly configurable that it is difficult to demonstrate and hard to convince new users that it really can do whatever they might want it to do. RPC’s Solution Sets allow clients to very quickly confirm that Unifier can not only do what they need it to do but can be further configured, with the support of RPC, to suit their own individual, and quite often, bespoke requirements.

There are currently six RPC Solution Sets for Unifier: Earned Value Management; Strategic Risk Management; Project Controls; Cost Management; Asset Care and NEC4. But there are no limits to the types of processes that can be pulled into Unifier, including Management – BIM; Testing & Inspections; Health & Safety; Quality Management and Supplier Management.

Whatever you build can be connected to other Solution Sets within Unifier, other Oracle products – such as P6 through the Primavera Gateway – or other third-party applications, via APIs, for a fully integrated solution.

Allowing your capabilities to grow

Over and above the extended capabilities delivered with the Solution Sets, users will continue to gain other enhancements and benefits with each new Unifier update. For example, in the latest releases, a new functionality allows users to navigate directly to P6, including logging in the user, and opening the project and the project activities Gantt chart view just through a simple click of an icon in Unifier. Having the ability to leverage the integrated P6 schedule to plot Unifier costs and view these within a line chart allows users to combine all costs at contract, project and other project structures levels, so that is becomes possible to see these costs distributed across time in a typical S-Curve chart.
