With the new year, we’re delighted to welcome a new face to RPC to head up our successful training business and support us in delivering our company mission of empowering project teams through Primavera solutions.
After appointing our new Operations Director, Nick Woodrow, in November the next key milestone in preparing RPC for ‘life after Tina retires’ was to recruit a Head of Training Services to take up the mantle of managing – and growing – our already very successful training offering. We’re delighted to welcome Damian Ransome into this new role from 5th January 2026.
Previously Learning, Development, Safety and Compliance Leader at Travis Perkins, Damian brings with him a huge amount of experience in learning and development, along with an excellent understanding of the context of the training services we offer at RPC. We’re looking forward to harnessing his enthusiasm and great ideas for how we might expand and scale our training business to reach and support more customers via a variety of delivery methods.
Primavera training is not just where RPC began, it remains core to our business and is a fundamental aspect of supporting our mission to create and deliver Oracle project controls solutions that empower project teams. Through our world-renowned Primavera training we’re proud to empower project managers, schedulers, administrators and more to support and control their own projects effectively and efficiently – each delegate going back into their business and making a difference.
We currently train around 1,000 delegates a year in a combination of public scheduled courses and through client-specific sessions, but as part of our growth strategy we’re hoping to grow that significantly and increase the range of training services we provide too. By doing this, we will be able to reach more delegates and make an even bigger impact on their projects and the wider developments those projects touch, enabling our clients to build a better future for everyone. It’s a powerful and impactful part of our business.
Damian has a proven track record in balancing the maintenance of hands-on operational delivery with building scalable systems to achieve growth and drive commercial results. Most importantly, though, it’s clear that he shares the values and exhibits the behaviours that are so important to us at RPC: be decent people to do business with; keep it simple; and get the job done. We know that Damian can do all of this and more and we’re all looking forward to having him on the team. Welcome to RPC!
