We are delighted once again to announce that RPC has been awarded the Framework Contract for G-Cloud 14 for our Cloud Hosting, Cloud Software and Cloud Support services, and these will be available through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Digital Marketplace from 9 November, 2024.
G-Cloud 14 provides services and support to UK central government departments and all other public sector bodies, with pre-defined terms and conditions and the inclusion of the latest procurement policies including social value and prompt payment. It replaces G-Cloud 13 and is intended to build upon the benefits of the previous G-Cloud framework agreement, including:
We have been listed on the Crown Commercial Service Digital Marketplace for a number of years now and are pleased to be able to continue to support our public sector clients with their Oracle Primavera requirements via this major procurement portal.
The CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2022/23, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £3.8 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
CCS is the UK’s largest public procurement organisation, and only companies and services that meet their strict criteria of minimum standards are approved for an entry on the Digital Marketplace. Framework contracts including basic terms of use are pre-agreed between the supplier and the government, making buying services through the G-Cloud 14 framework faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurement contracts.
By purchasing services via the Crown Commercial Service Digital Marketplace, organisations can be confident that they will be maximising their returns on investment and they will save time in going straight to a list of approved suppliers with framework government contracts already in place. There is no need to run a full procurement process each time in order to meet regulatory requirements. Maximising returns and minimising time spent on the procurement process are both critical markers for public sector organisations, who are obliged to achieve best value for taxpayers.
"I'm delighted that RPC has been awarded a framework contract on G-Cloud 14," says RPC's Business Development Director, Chris Woodbridge. "It will enable us to offer Oracle’s full suite of Construction and Engineering Software solutions, along with our best-in-class training, support and hosting services to organisations via the Digital Marketplace."
RPC’s services can be found in three areas of the CCS Digital Marketplace: Cloud Hosting, Cloud Support and Cloud Software. If you’re interested in finding out more about how RPC can help you in any of these areas, please get in touch with Chris Woodbridge via the contact details below.
