Project Controls Expo UK at Wembley Stadium is nearly here. We're packing our bags and polishing our presentation in readiness. With more than 1000 delegates expected to attend, it's the world's largest project controls event – will you be there?
The event offers two full days of insightful presentations in addition to the partner showcase, and RPC is excited to be speaking in the Case Study Zone on Day 1 of the expo, alongside our client, daa. We'll be describing how we worked together to implement a transformative programme controls solution that is having a real impact in the ways that daa operates and manages its programme of expansion and maintenance at Dublin and Cork Airports.
Nathan Lambert, Senior Consultant at RPC, will be setting out the challenges of the project and the solutions built to meet them, supported by the client – Mark O'Brien, Head of Programme Controls at Dublin Airport – with a user's view of how the solution has transformed their working practices.
Nathan joined RPCuk in 2021 with 15 years’ experience in the design, development, implementation and support of software solutions for a variety of public and private sector organisations both in the UK and the Middle East. The solutions Nathan has been involved with have been used to assist companies with Project Management, Drawing/Document Management and Planning with a primary focus in recent years on Contract Management specifically NEC4 and FIDIC. Nathan is now able to bring his knowledge and expertise to RPCuk working with customers to understand their requirements and turn them into user friendly solutions within Primavera Unifier and ensuring maximum benefit is received for all stakeholders.
Mark is a Programme Controls professional with a background in Quantity Surveying; he has worked in both Pre and Post contract capacities on large, complex, multi-contract construction projects in the aviation, pharmaceutical, food processing, mission critical, private and public sectors. He currently leads the Programme Controls Function for Dublin Airport, covering Cost, Risk and Programme management to deliver a multibillion capital investment programme to support the airport’s future growth plans.
